19" Panel PC sucessful story |
One of Bestek's partners in Europe has successfully installed 150 sets of 19" slim panel PC systems in the entrance of apartment buildings. The functions of this 19" panel PC is to do information announcements, interactive infomation checking and when the workers who go to the buildings to do cleaning, electricity & plumbing maintenance, they will use a contactless card to be read on the RFID reader on this panel PC to anthenticate and report their jobs. After the successful installation of year 2007, our partner will deploy 500 systems in year 2008 for the same project. This Panel PC system is equiped with a 19" TFT-LCD display with SAW touch panel, running on linux and mozilla firefox. It's a fanless design for better reliability and stability. With IP65 rating front bezel, this system can prevent water spilling and dust. Bestek also customize the front bezel to fit for various apartment buildings decorations. Our partner will cooperate with Bestek for more panel PC projects because we not only deliver competitive and reliable hardware systems but also has great flexibility on designing and manufacturing to fit for their various demands.
